OLDS – Jin Yeo of Calgary won the 2023 edition of the Expedia Cruises Ladies Open Golf tournament, held July 15 at the Olds Golf Club.
Yeo edged out by two strokes a trio of fellow out-of-towners, including former Ladies Open champ Celina Lam, also of Calgary.
The top local competitor was Jenny Lee, who finished just four strokes back, shooting a 79.
A total of 121 ladies entered the tournament, many dressed in very colourful outfits in a tropical vacation theme in tribute to the tournament sponsor.
