Graysen Cameron gets job as assistant coach

Olds resident and former Humboldt Broncos player Graysen Cameron is now an assistant coach with the Midget AAA Red Deer Optimist Chiefs.

Olds resident Graysen Cameron, one of 13 players injured in the April 6 crash involving a Humboldt Broncos bus and a semi-trailer in northwest Saskatchewan is now a coach.

Cameron, 19, has agreed to become an assistant coach for the Midget AAA Red Deer Optimist Chiefs, a tier 1 team he played for in 2015 to 2017 before joining the Broncos.

Earlier this year, Cameron hinted at a coaching job in the area during an interview with the Albertan.

During that interview, he said he may have a job coaching "in Central Alberta."
