OLDS — Three local duos finished just seven shots off the pace in the annual Sim’s Furniture Mixed Open, held Aug. 11 at the Olds Golf Club.
Kate Major and Trevor Wood won the tournament with a score of 69.
Kerry Jamieson/Kim Jamieson and Paul Claerhout/Sarah Bettenson tied for second with scores of 73, just four shots behind.
Olds Golf Club members with the lowest scores were Tina Machan/Gaige Weseen, Mike Dezall/Gail Dezall and Jae Ha/Jenny Lee, all shooting 76.
