OLDS — When golfers get ready to tee off next spring, they’ll have a new pro/manager.
That’s because Wade Bearchell is resigning, effective Dec. 15 after serving Olds Golf Club for about 20 years.
Club president Mike Dezall made the announcement on behalf of the facility’s board of directors, stating that Bearchell plans to “pursue other opportunities.”
“I would like to thank Wade for his dedicated service to the Olds Golf Club over the past 20 years,” Dezall wrote in a message to club members. No replacement was announced at that time.
“Wade has been an integral part of our club’s development and success through his many years of service. Please join the board of directors and in extending our gratitude for Wade's valued contributions to our organization and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
