OLDS — Champions in seven categories at the Olds Golf Club were determined for 2020 during club championships, held Aug. 15 and 16.
Keith Newton captured the overall championship as well as the seniors division for men aged 50 to 64. Newton shot 74 and 75 over the two-day event.
Nicole Schultz captured her second ladies club championship with an 11-shot
victory over Tina Machan with rounds of 78 and 81.
Wayne Piller and Doug Manning tied for the men’s super senior division for men 65 years and over. Piller won in a modified playoff. He shot 79 and 81 during the tournament.
Kristine Schultz won the ladies senior division, shooting 84 and 83 respectively while Jan Knight captured the super seniors ladies division for women 65-plus with rounds of 86 and 95.
Reid Williamson shot 74 to win the junior championship.
A total of 96 members competed in the tournament.
