OHS takes second in wrestling provincials

Olds High School competed at the ASAA Provincial Wrestling Championship in Sherwood Park from March 11-12. The Spartans boys scored 13 points to finish second out of 17 3A schools. That was the school's 11th provincial plaque.

Olds High School competed at the ASAA Provincial Wrestling Championship in Sherwood Park from March 11-12.

The Spartans boys scored 13 points to finish second out of 17 3A schools. That was the school's 11th provincial plaque.

Individually, Kevin Waldron won a silver medal in the 82-kilogram weight class.

Luke Daley won bronze in the 120-kg-plus class.

William Reiswig finished sixth in the 120-kg class.

The team next competes at the Alberta Open on April 2 in Edmonton.
