OKCS sends eight to badminton provincials

Olds Koinonia Christian School's senior high school badminton team sent eight players to the provincial championship this past weekend in Edmonton. It's the largest cohort in team history.

Olds Koinonia Christian School's senior high school badminton team sent eight players to the provincial championship this past weekend in Edmonton.

It's the largest cohort in team history.

They qualified for the tournament after winning medals at zones:

Zac Longstaff and Ashley Coney won silver in Grade 10 Mixed Doubles.

Bryce Parrott and Kennedy Coates won silver in Grade 11 Mixed Doubles.

Kayla Jansen and Jewel Jansen won Gold in Grade 11 Girls Doubles.

Spencer Parrott and Anna Crowe won silver in Grade 12 Mixed Doubles.
