OLDS — Local badminton player Mary Marshall dominated the Glencoe Masters tournament, held Jan. 26-28 in Calgary.
Marshall finished first in women’s 40+ singles, second in women’s 30+ doubles with partner Carol Fu and second in women’s doubles with partner Daisy Lee.
She also placed second in 40+ mixed doubles with partner David Miller.
“I felt very focused on court,” Marshall said. “A lady told me I looked like I was floating because my footwork was so graceful. (That) was so kind of her.”
