OLDS — The season is already underway for the École Olds High School cross-country running team.
This year, there are 14 runners on the team, including two Grade 12s.
Shane Neilson is tackling a six-kilometre (km) challenge and Grade 12 student Sydney Van Ginhoven, who ran in the provincials last year, is running in a five km event.
The team also competed in divisionals, held Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Snake Hill in Sundre.
The zones will be held Wednesday, Oct. 9 in Diamond Valley.
