OLDS  — The Olds Grizzlys have announced a couple of player moves.

Goaltender Aidan Fischer has joined the BCHL's Surrey Eagles. That leaves the Grizzlys with two goaltenders, Ben Dardis and Connor Johnson.

Fischer joined the Grizzlys earlier this season when his rights were acquired from the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).

He suited up for eight games with the Grizzlys, during which he posted a 3.27 goals against average and a .904 save percentage for a record of 4-3-0, including one shutout.

Fischer was named the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Defensive player of the week for Sept 23-29.

In another move, the Grizzlys traded Yibin Yoo to the Blind River Beavers of the NOJHL (Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League) for future considerations.

Yoo suited up for the Grizzlys in 14 games, during which time he scored one goal.

In a news release, Grizzlys manager of business operations Kevin Watson thanked both players for their contributions to the team and wished them all the best in the future.
