OLDS — The Olds Grizzlys announced three player moves recently.

The team has acquired six-foot, five inch tall, 20-year-old forward Aiden Knutsen from the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for future considerations.

Knutsen had been with the Terriers for the past three seasons.

At the time of the announcement, Knutsen, a Red Deer product, had scored six goals and racked up a total of 15 points in 20 games this season.

Grizzlys defenceman Will Patey 18, has been traded to the Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior Hockey League for future considerations.

He obtained two assists in 74 games.

The Grizzlys also released 18-year-old defenceman Tristan Visser of Olds. He obtained one assist in nine games with his hometown club.

“The Grizzlys would like to welcome Aiden to the Grizzlys organization and wish Will and Tristan all the best in their future endeavours,” Grizzlys manager of business operations Kevin Watson wrote in a Dec. 11 news release announcing the transactions.
