OLDS — During the weekend, the Olds Grizzlys suffered a couple of tough losses during the first two games of a three-game road trip.
That dropped their overall record to two wins, 10 losses and two overtime losses for six points in 14 games.
The third and last game in that road trip occurs Tuesday, Oct. 24 in Drumheller.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Grizzlys were beaten 7-3 by the Grande Prairie Storm. On Friday, Oct. 20, they lost a heartbreaker, 3-2 in overtime to the Wolverines in Whitecourt.
In the Grande Prairie game, Cade Moxham, Kyle Venneman and Daniel North scored for the Grizzlys.
Ryder Many Grey Horses obtained two assists during the game. Tristan Bauming, Moxham, Patrick Mitchell and Nathan White also drew assists.
Aidan Comeau went the distance in net, stopping 29 of 36 shots.
In the Whitecourt game, Greye Rampton and North scored for the Grizzlys in that one.

On Friday, Oct. 27, the Grizzlys begin a four-game homestand which lasts through Nov.3.
During that time, they’ll host the Fort McMurray Oil Barons Nov. 27, the Blackfalds Bulldogs Oct. 29, the Okotoks Oilers on Halloween Night, and the Bonnyville Pontiacs on Nov. 3.
