OLDS — The École Olds High School JV girls volleyball team is playing in – and hosting – the league final this Tuesday, Nov. 7.
After that, they head to zones, held in Strathmore Nov. 17.
A frustrating outcome during a tournament in Lacombe could serve as a motivator.
The Spartans ended up in fourth place in that tournament after missing a bronze medal berth by just two points.
Despite the loss, head coach Stephanie Crofts was proud of her team, saying they worked amazingly well together.
“Their energy, motivation and ability to work as a team kept them going,” she wrote in an email.
