This past weekend and the previous week saw some positive results for most Olds Broncos teams.

The women's basketball team was the most dominant, winning both of its games against the Lethbridge College Kodiaks.

The Broncos hammered the Kodiaks 75-42 on Friday, Jan. 19, then beat them by a closer score on Saturday: 79-69.

The men split their games against the Kodiaks, losing 88-61 on Friday, but rebounding, so to speak, with an 82-74 win on Saturday.

In women's hockey, the Broncos split their two-game series with the SAIT Trojans, losing 3-0 on Thursday at the Sportsplex, but edging the Trojans 2-1 on Friday.

Unfortunately results were not so positive for the Broncos men's and women's volleyball teams.

Both squads were beaten by SAIT three games to none on Friday and Saturday.
