OLDS — The École Olds High School football team has a rematch with the Drumheller Titans Thursday.
Kickoff is 4 p.m. at Normie Kwong Park in Olds.
Back in early September, the Spartans downed the Titans 35-25 in Drumheller, the first time they’ve beaten them in many years.
Spartans head coach Kent Lorenz knows the Titans will be out for revenge, but he’s readying his team for that.
The Spartans showed how dominant they can be when they crushed Carstairs 51-9 Oct. 5 in Carstairs.
“(That was) a much better overall game this week, as we executed more consistently on offence and our special teams were solid,” he wrote in an email.
“Defensively, the team played a strong second half of football.”
Lorenz said from now until the end of the season, the team will on consistency and conditioning.
