SUNDRE - Numbers are down a bit this year for the Sundre Soccer Club, said the organization’s president.
“Registration is a little lower this year then at this time in the past,” said Amber Jenkins.
There have already been two registration events, and while the club’s deadline is usually by the end of February, Jenkins said that has been extended until Monday, March 9.
“I know a lot of people register last minute because they can't decide between baseball or soccer.”
Forms are available at The Children’s Emporium. Alternatively, anyone interested in asking questions can also submit inquiries by email to [email protected], she added.
“Soccer is an affordable sport for kids from ages two and up.”
The season is expected to start in April, depending on weather, and runs until the end of June, with practices and games held weekly every Wednesday evening at the soccer fields near Highway 760, or the Bergen Road.
