After a few weeks indoor Sundre Soccer is ready to move out on the fields this week.

Lots of kids are involved again in this new 2011 Soccer season.

With 1 U16 boys team and 1 U16 girls team Sundre Soccer is definitely growing among the teenagers.

PATKAR LTD helped out this year with the purchase of team jerseys for U 16 Boys.

In the competitive league we have 1 U14 mixed team.

This team has the Bergen field as there home field and also there practices will be on this location.

The 2 U12 teams will play and practice on the high school fields.

Among the younger kids we have 2 U10 teams and 2 U8 teams.

Last Saturday we had 2 crews out on the fields, to set out and paint all the fields.

Kent and Veronica Pashto, Neil Reynolds, Bert Sherman and Richard Meikles worked with the laser to measure all the fields.

Carl Arnold and Roger Tetreault had the paint machine ready and in almost 1 day we had all the fields ready for our first home games on Monday.

Thanks to RPM we had paint available for a reduced price and some even donated.

Since we increased our number of kids involved compared to last year we had to expand the

amount of soccer balls.

WILDS HOME HARDWARE helped Sundre Soccer by donating smaller and bigger size soccer balls.

Sundre Soccer is sure growing and as it is now all the green space is field to accommodate

all the different teams.

We are even working on building some Dug Outs (shelters) for the older kids.

WEST FRASER did donate the lumber and Cal Werezak is working on building those,

so we can use them this season.

Lots of parents are involved donating their time, whether it is for coaching or managing for a team

without their help Sundre Soccer would not be were they are today.
