OLDS — The Olds Grizzlys are hoping to get back above .500 when they hit the ice again tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 19).

It'll be a challenge, though.

They’ll be on the road, facing off against frequent league champions, the Brooks Bandits.

The Bandits won their fifth Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) championship in franchise history last season.

There’s a chance for a win, though.

Although the Bandits sat atop the AJHL’s eight-team south division Monday with a 13-11-1-1-0 record, it’s not as overwhelming as it has been previously.

Meanwhile, after getting off to a strong start, the Grizzlys have slipped to sixth place in that division and now have a 5-5-3-0-0 record.

In their latest action, the Grizzlys suffered two straight losses at the Sportsplex this past weekend.

They were beaten 5-3 loss by the Whitecourt Wolverines Sunday night. That followed a 6-5 loss to the Blackfalds Bulldogs Saturday night.
