Undefeated in tournament

The Sundre peewee A Huskies triumphed during the squad's recent home tournament. “We went undefeated and won,” said Coach Chris Craig. The squad played four games, going on to take out the Okotoks Oilers 6-3 in the final to claim victory.

“We went undefeated and won,” said Coach Chris Craig.

The squad played four games, going on to take out the Okotoks Oilers 6-3 in the final to claim victory.

“We did excellent,” the coach said, adding the games were very competitive and that the Huskies all “worked really hard.”

They beat the Edmonton North Seera Grizzlies 3-1 in their first game. The Huskies then not only maintained their momentum but also even kicked it up a notch, going on to beat the Oilers 6-1 in the second game and also emerging victorious by a score of 7-1 against the Sherwood Park Hawks in the third game.

There were eight teams playing at the Sundre Arena from Dec. 9-11.
