Manitoba RCMP at rural property where suspected remains of infant found

GRAHAMDALE — Manitoba RCMP are investigating after what appear to be remains of an infant were found in an area north of Winnipeg. Police were called Monday to a property off Highway 6 in the rural municipality of Grahamdale.

GRAHAMDALE — Manitoba RCMP are investigating after what appear to be remains of an infant were found in an area north of Winnipeg.

Police were called Monday to a property off Highway 6 in the rural municipality of Grahamdale.

Forensic officers, a canine unit and an anthropology team are at the site.

Police say the identity of the remains is unknown, and they continue to investigate.

Grahamdale is a community of about 1,200 in the Interlake region.
