MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - The Bergen Farmers Market, which has been running weekly since the end of June, wrapped up for the season on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Providing some live music was a local group called The Santé String Trio, who are Ruth Obrist on violin, Diana Kleinloog, on cello, and Sue de Caen on viola.
Nearby residents as well as curious visitors, such as Calgary residents Carolina Feliu and her friend Carolina Villasenor — both originally from Chile — came to check out the vendors, including Jamie and Laurie Syer’s table boasting fresh, home-baked artisanal breads.
The Thanksgiving and Christmas markets are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 28 respectively, both running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
