MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - FortisAlberta is working to restore power Sunday morning to dozens of customers in the southeast portion of Mountain View County east of Carstairs.
Thirty-two customers in an area east of Highway 2 around Highway 581 and Highway 791 have been without power since the outage started at 6:37 a.m. Jan. 14.
FortisAlberta blames the outage on extreme weather (fog, rain, frost).
Restoration is in progress and the company estimates power to be restored by 10:30 a.m.
