QMJHL roundup: Armada unload offence on Remparts in 5-2 win

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Xavier Villeneuve and Justin Carbonneau each scored twice as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defeated the visiting Quebec Remparts 5-2 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Monday.

Theo Lemieux also scored for the Armada (5-4), who outshot the visitors 28-20.

Jayden Rousseau and Justin Cote scored power-play goals for the Remparts (5-4-1-0), while Nathan Quinn and Maddox Dagenais each collected two assists.

The Armada led 2-1 after the first period and the teams were tied 2-2 heading into the third.

The Remparts went 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Armada went 0-for-4.
