Jack was born December 17, 1936 in Peace River to John and Louise Adair and was raised in High Prairie.
Jack met and married Norma Sundberg July 1, 1959. He lived & worked in many places in Alberta, BC & offshore Nova Scotia in the oilpatch. They moved the family to 4 European countries plus Brazil before settling in Wetaskiwin and later moving to Olds where he worked & did a year in Argentina.
Jack raised horses that he used for hunting and racing. He loved sports & happy hours. They loved to travel and once retired they spent their winters in Arizona enjoying the warmer weather and golfing.
Jack passed away August 23, 2021 with his family by his side at the age of 84 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Norma of 62 years; 2 children; 8 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
A Happy Hour Open House will be held on Friday September 3, 2021 from 4-6p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #105, Olds. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Olds & District Hospice Society or Alberta Cancer Foundation.
