Allenbrand, Ieleen Audrey went to her new home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 26, 2023, at the age of 90. She was a force of nature during her life.
Pre-deceased by her husband Floyd Allenbrand who has been waiting to see her.
Pre-deceased, her middle son, Neil Allenbrand, his widow Heather and 4 adult children, Christa, Joshua, Michelle, and Sandy.
She will be remembered by her oldest son, David Allenbrand, and his wife Lorna, their 2 adult children, Erin & Jared. Her daughter Gayleen Nelson (Allenbrand) her husband Steve and 3 adult children, Amanda, Brandon, and Chad. Ieleen’s younger sister Maxine Madsen and her brother Clarence Berg.
Mom enjoyed many years of involvement in the churches of the communities she lived. Serving in several church ministries and women’s groups. Ieleen was very social and enjoyed conversations with anyone who would stop and listen, friends and strangers. Ieleen and Floyd lived in many places throughout their lifetime; Saskatoon, Drayton Valley, Whitecourt, Olds, Carstairs, Duncan, and Penticton and then returning to Carstairs.
The family would like to thank some very special people; Evelyn and Lynn, who were like family too Ieleen also Dawn, Sharon, and her friends from the Manor in Carstairs; Florence, Donna and Doug, and Raja along with many others.
Special thanks to my sister in-law, Heather who spend the last week of mom’s life at her side.

Memorial service will held at the Rock Church in Carstairs on January 14, 2023 at 1PM.
