1952 – 2025

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Norm Bailey at the Red Deer Hospice on March 12, 2025 at the age of 73 years, following a lengthy and very courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Norm was born to Cecil and Muriel Bailey in Innisfail, Alberta on March 12, 1952. Norm’s passions included his work in the trucking and oilfield industries, camping, and riding his Harley, but most important to him was his family.

Norm is lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie, his son, Keith (Shannon), his daughter, Kristy (Ron) Billings, his grandchildren: Logan and Dylan Billings, Lane, Luke and Harlyn Bailey, as well as his brothers, Gerald (Dianne) Bailey and Allen (Janelle) Bailey and a sister Cathy (Carl) Holland. He will also be missed by numerous extended family members and lifelong friends. 

A Celebration of Norm's Life will be held at the Paterson Community Hall, Bowden, Alberta on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, Memorial Donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4R 3S6 or at www.reddeerhospice.com
