It is with deep sadness that we lost our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Stan Bates on Monday, December 16, 2024.
He was born on August 3, 1931 in Latchford, ON and passed away on December 16, 2024 surrounded by family.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Bella of 70 years; three daughters, Connie (Jim), Nancy (Bernie) and Karen (Rod). He was blessed with 9 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen (2016).
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Agnes Parish in Carstairs on Saturday, Dec 28, 2024 at 11 a.m. Following the Mass, everyone is invited to the Carstairs Community Hall where Stan’s eulogy, memories and stories will be shared.
