Diane Ella Bieber was born November 30, 1952 in Ponoka, Alberta. She received her wings March 21, 2022 at the Olds Hospital at the age of 69 years.
Diane was at Michener Centre from the age of 9 where she did her schooling and learned lots of life skills. From there she moved to a group home in Red Deer and then lived on her own for awhile. She worked at the Red Deer Lodge working in the café. After that she moved to Lacombe, then Didsbury until she moved back to Olds in 1992 to a group home with Accredited Supports to the Community where she resided until her passing.
She always enjoyed her time with family and getting together with all her friends. She was involved with the Special Olympics taking part in bowling, curling, gymnastics and swimming. She worked and volunteered in the community for many years. Her last job was with Wal-Mart until she retired in October, 2016.
She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. Diane is survived by her sister, Shelley (Vern); brother Bruce (Mary); sister-in-law Cindy, who passed away March 22, 2022; special friend Kerri; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
Diane was predeceased by her mom Olive, dad Carl and brother Wayne. Funeral service was held on March 25, 2022 at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel with Harold Hunter officiating.
