Hildagarde Annie Bruce of Olds, beloved wife of the late William Grant Bruce, passed away at her home in the Long Term Care, at the Olds Hospital on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the age of 92 years.
Hilda was born on May 7, 1929 in Spruce Home, Saskatchewan to Jacob and Anna Uhlenberg.
Hilda is survived by daughters Sharon, Donna, Barbara (John), Brenda (Don), Gladys (Ed); sons Don (Anita), Barry; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; sister Doris (Maurice); brother Leo; sister-in-law’s Esther and Lori.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years Grant; her parents Jacob and Anna Uhlenberg; sisters Mary and Millie; brothers Arnold, Herbert and Arthur; sister-in-law Martha; brother-in-law’s Wolfgang Diefenthaler, Arthur Perreault and Ed Zolmer; and son-in-law John Bedford.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hoeve and the Olds Hospital & Care Centre for their loving and compassionate care (the Care Centre being her home since September 2015).
