John Richard Campbell passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023, in Elnora, Alberta. Born on August 13, 1950, in Sydney, Nova Scotia, John was a beloved brother to Cheryl Ann, Daniel Peter and was predeceased by his brother Robert “Bobby” Joseph.
John's early years were spent in Irish Vale, Cape Breton Island, before he ventured to Alberta in the late 1970s. He was a dedicated truck driver, known for his hard work and reliability.
John was a creative soul, with a particular passion for music. He played various musical instruments, and sang in his band, "The Overnight City Band." He also was a proud member of "Still n Tact." His music brought joy to many and will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will be cherished.
No formal services will be held. John’s cremated remains will be taken back to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
