1938 - 2022
It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Mr. Donald ‘Don’ Richard Christenson on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the age of 84 years.
Don was born in Edmonton, Alberta on March 13, 1938, to Emily and Carl Christenson and passed away peacefully in Innisfail, Alberta. He will be fondly remembered for his love for his grandchildren, passion for fishing, gardening, and golfing and his never-ending sense of humor.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his son, Richard Christenson (Debbie), his daughter, Jackie McKinnon (Russell), his grandchildren, Bryce, Rebecca and Nolan; as well as his sisters, Carol and Shirley (Wally) and his brother, Ken (Pearl).
Don was predeceased by his partner, Dawn, his parents, Carl and Emily, a brother, Ron, and a sister, Ruth, along with other family and friends over the course of time.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Innisfail Health Centre and to family and friends for their care and compassion.
