It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my husband, Jim Cogswell after fighting and battling with cancer.
Jim was born in Fredricton, N.B. April 19, 1948. Jim was employed many years at Arjon Construction and for a brief time at Border Paving.
Jim loved camping, canoeing, quadding and his old 56 Ford and Jeep. He dearly loved all his children and grandchildren. Jim resided in Bowden, AB for the last 26 years with his wife Marsha. God give me the strength to learn to live without him.
He is survived by his loving wife Marsha, children Kelly (Mike Peterson), Kimberly Cogswell, Katie (Jeremy Holt), step son Brett (Amber Parker), step daughter Melanie (Scott Simpson), 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
Jim was predeceased by his father Percy, mother Margaret, brother Blain, sister Bonnie Anderson and son Christopher Cogswell.
A very special thank-you to Dr. Seeman and all the nurses at the Innisfail Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Patterson Community Center, Bowden, AB. West View Funeral Services, Olds entrusted with arrangements. 403-556-6576
