Once, so tall, so steady.
A friend to so many.
A voice that booms as it welcomes.
Last of his era and full of lore.
Family, Finning the Yukon full of it’s gold.
Never one to grow tired,
Hours filled with laughter, cheer and
Shouts for “Just one more!”
Eventually, we children closed the crack in the door.
A proud and dedicated husband, Dad, Grandfather
And just a good man
A selfless carer of others even at the expense of himself,
The often heard “Thank you Uncle Ray”
Shall be heard no more.
But… whether looking at your “Wooden Things”,
Playing pool, golf, crib or just sharing a coffee,
His name will be softly whispered and
HIS STORY TOLD
Your loving daughter.
