5 December 1964 – 7 November 2019
Dominique Clement passed away suddenly at the age of 54 years, near Millarville, Alberta. He will be forever remembered by family, friends in Quebec and Alberta. He is predeceased by his son Tyrell and his father Donald. He is survived by his partner Sue, his daughter Tori (Nathan), grandson Henley and son Tanner, mother Denise, brother Daniel (Manon), sisters Diane and Dorothee, step daughters Selena and Ryan, step-mother Suzanne, step sister Nathalie, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and many dear friends.
Dominique was born in Magog, Quebec and moved to Alberta in his early 20s to follow his passion for horses and become a cowboy. He had a varied career that included farrier, horse training, and carpentry. He called himself a jack of trades and a master of none. His pride and joy were his children, grandson and his horse Fancy. Dominique truly embodied the character of what cowboy is. His larger than life personality, his humor, his kindness, openness and generosity were known by those close to him and within his community. He was always the first to help whether it be lending a sturdy hand, to offer a supportive ear or shoulder to lean on.
Celebration of Dominique’s life will be held 8 December from 1 – 4 pm at Square Butte Hall, www.squarebuttehall.com.
