Born Arbor Vitae Ontario March 5, 1938 - Died Didsbury Alberta to July 4, 2022.
He passed peacefully, with his loving wife and sons by his side at 84 years old.
Gus was hard working, caring and loving, accomplishing many things in his life. Predeceased by his parents Gustav and Anna, his brother Ab, his fourth son Dwight and grandson Garrett.
Gus is survived by his wife Gaye, of over 65 years of marriage and his 3 sons, Barry (Dorothy), Aaron (Mary) and Roger (Christine). Granddaughters Richelle (Cody) and Hillary (Scott) and grandsons Douglas and Taylor and great grandchildren Madelyn and Logan.
He took tremendous pride in being a Didsbury Elk, Mason, and member of the Shriner Vintage Car club.
We would like to thank the caring staff at the Didsbury hospital and the Lougheed Hospital in Calgary.
Gus will be put to rest in the family cemetery in Girvin, Saskatchewan.
