Joseph Louis DuBois, 74. A beloved husband and father passed away on May 30th, 2024, at the Olds Hospital, Olds, Alberta. He is survived by his loving wife Laurel of 49 years and his two children Melissa and Michael, one brother, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louis was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, the youngest of 8 children. Louis shared a love of wood working, travelling with friends and family and dedicated 35 years at CP Rail as a sheet metal worker.
Louis was a man whose kindness knew no bounds his sense of humor could light up any room, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. Always lighthearted he approached life with a joyful spirit making every moment spent with him a cherished memory
A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
The family also wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Duong and the nurses/support staff of the Red Deer Cancer Clinic and the Olds Hospital for their kindness, support and care shown to everyone.
