1966 - 2024
Doug was born on July 1,1966 in Calgary, AB. Soon after the family relocated from Calgary to Olds, AB where they farmed for many years. Doug took part in the local 4-H club and played hockey for many years. Doug’s love of hockey remained with him for his lifetime. Playing on local teams in his early 20s and an avid Flames Fan.
He was predeceased by his parents Willard and Noreen Durand. He was also predeceased by his wife Carol, whom he married August 28th, 1993.
Doug is survived by his 4 children Jaclyn, Tracey (Kevin), Chantel (Richard) and Dustin (Carrie). His Grandchildren Tyler, Austin, Levi, Logan, Gabby, Hunter, Lily and Greyson. His brother Brett (Stacy) and sister Tracey (Randy). Along with multiple Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family.
