1930 - 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Edmund Dennis ‘Ed’ Fyten, with his family by his side, at the Olds Long Term Care Centre on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Ed will be well remembered for so many life accomplishments: including serving as Mayor for the Town of Bowden from 1968 – 1986, Fyten’s Tire Shop and Whiteline Trailer Manufacturing. Edmund will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Debbie Morgan, Ramona (Tony) Radau and Brenda (Dave) Beecroft; his grandchildren, Travis (Jolene) Morgan, Davin (Carrie) Morgan, Jason (Tamara) Radau, Lavonne (Derek) Johnston, Stephen (Jennifer) Beecroft and Jenny (Darcy) Boyd; and his great grandchildren, Gus, Finn, Teyanna, Brayden, Carter, Emma, Kole, Kaleigh, Haidyn and Rowen. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Vera in February 2019. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held at the Paterson Community Centre, Bowden, Alberta on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. If desired Memorial Donations in Edmund’s honor may be made directly to the Cerebral Palsy Association, in honor of his great grandson at www.cpalberta.com.
