It is great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Darla Flessatti on Sunday September 24, 2023 at the Olds Hospital, at the age of 68 years.
Darla is survived and will always be loved by her three sons: Christopher, Thomas, and Matthew (Jess), along with her five grandchildren, Addison, Easton, Hadley, Jesse, and Matteo. Darla will also be greatly missed by her sisters Carol (Bob) Wright, Joan (Mark) Jenkins and her brother Trevor (Rhonda) Dodd, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
Darla spent all her life in the Olds, Alberta, where she laid the roots and the foundation for her family and her community. Darla was involved with many organizations throughout her life, but the employment that she maintained for 33 years at the TD Bank, will always be one of her accomplishments.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in both Olds and Red Deer for the continuing care and compassion that they gave to Darla during her fight.
Darla’s memory will always live in those whose lives she touched, and she will never be forgotten by those who loved her.
An Open house for Darla will be held on Friday October 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Olds and District Evergreen Centre. Please come and join the family in sharing the memories and the love that was shared for Darla.
