John Folkmann of Didsbury went home to be with his heavenly Father and to join his beloved wife, Beatrice Viola (Berreth) and infant son Terry Devon on December 22, 2020.
John was born in Didsbury on January 4, 1931. He married Beatrice on December 3, 1952. The couple farmed east of Torrington for 60 years before moving to Didsbury to retire. John is lovingly remembered by sons Gerald, Lyle and Keith; daughter Sherry; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice and son Terry. A service date will be announced once COVID restrictions are lifted. Condolences for the family may be emailed to [email protected].
