It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary D. Staples on Aug 13, 2021 in San Carlos, MX.
He leaves behind his wife of 33 years Laurie, his daughter Andrea Hoogenboom (Robert), Stepdad to Jennifer, Jodee, Ashley, and Amber (Nico). He will be missed by his 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Always remembered by his Mother Verna, Sisters Carol Turner (Bruce), Diana Finton, late father Don Staples, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
He was born in Hamilton, ON and spent his adult life in Calgary/Water Valley, AB. He was a Master Carpenter and worked 40 years building his craft. After retirement he went to live his dream with his wife on a beach in San Carlos, Mexico.
A celebration of life will be held Sept 19, 2021 1pm to 4pm at the Cremona Legion.
