Erdman (Edd) Giesbrecht passed away on December 8, 2020 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Edmonton, with his family by his side.
He will be missed by his children Teresa (Stephen) and Allen; his grandchildren Ashley and Emily; his sisters Susan (John) Peters and Anna (Doug) Griller; and his nieces and nephew.
Edd was born on January 20, 1950 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to David T. and Helen Giesbrecht and grew up on the family farm near Wymark, Saskatchewan. Being a farm boy, Dad was resourceful and enjoyed working with his hands. He worked in construction for most of his life on both commercial and residential projects. He loved challenges and problems that he could puzzle over and “rig something up” to fix it.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
