February 11, 1933 – January 31, 2023
Margaret Goodwin passed away January 31, 2023 at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and special friends Tom and Kay Packer, their children, Stacey (Randy), Corrie (Jason), Jason(Jenna) and special adopted great-grand children Kaieson, Trystan, Myles, Jorja, Doel, Payton and Isabella, as well as her brother Don and son Ken (Rene), numerous nieces and nephews and family friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Ken, mother Victoria, father Walter, sister Lillian, and brother Ken.
Margaret was well known as the Teddy Bear Lady, she could have been referred to as the Egg Lady as well. She lived her life to the fullest and mentioned many times that she has “No Regrets”. Her many years as a waitress at the Sundre Hotel brought her many lifelong friendships. She will be missed by all.
A special thank you goes out to the doctors and the nursing staff at the Myron Thompson Health Care Centre in Sundre. They all took great care of Margaret during her last few days with us.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Hall – Sundre, February 11, 2023 @ 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to the Sundre Palliative Care Society or Sundre Royal Purple.
Prairie Rose Cremation and Funeral Services have been entrusted with the arrangements.
