Carol's children - Bob & Dawn Wambold {Cassidy}, Leanne's children {Carolynn/Nathaniel, Leah & Ethan), Kelly & Michelle Wambold {Cayieigh & Tristan}, Josh Halladay & family, Lacey Cameron & family and many family, cousins & many, many friends.

Lyle was predeceased by his parents — Carswell & Dorthy Gorsline; 1st wife Betty; Sisters — Sheila and Diana and stepdaughter Leanne Geiger.

He grew up and went to school in Vegreville, moving to Dawson Creek where he worked in the Post Office, then in the oil industry at the Dawson Creek Exel refinery. He married Betty Leoppky Jan. 02- 1956. They moved to the Harmatten area for Lyle to work at the Canadian Superior Plant about 1962. They then moved into Olds & ended up building a home across from the hospital. Lyle started in gunsmithing and then started up Gors Sportsline store in late 70's. He was very successful with his business for over 30 years.

He and a friend Rudy bought a 1/4 section close to Sundre & he spent a lot of time there over the years. He really enjoyed his Outback with many friends. Lyle met Carol in 1996 and they married in 1998. They spent many summers at the Outback and winters in Branson Mo. which they both enjoyed. He was given the name "The Lawn Ranger" by a friend as he loved to mow grass and keep things in TOP SHAPE. Many weekends were spent at the Outback with tractor bucket rides for the grandkids, riding quads with the grandkids, family and friends.

Lyle always enjoyed the A & W morning coffee crew where they solved many world issues. He really missed this activity when COVID hit.

We want to THANK the hospital staff, Dr.'s and nurses for their excellent care of Lyle in the last weeks of his life.
