Richard Henry Gunderson, aged 81, of Olds, Alberta, passed away on January 2, 2025.
Richard was born on August 28, 1943, in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, to Henry and Audrey Gunderson.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole Gunderson; their daughters Kim Moreau (Dennis) and Penny Lee Gunderson; and daughter-in-law Ani Gunderson. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Richard was predeceased by his son, Terrance Gunderson.
Dick, as he was commonly known, enjoyed a long and fulfilling career on the oil rigs and was well known for his dedication to family, excellent horsemanship, leather craftsmanship and clever way with words.
