1950-2024
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sharon Harrison of Westward Ho, Alberta.
On May 15, 2024, at the age of 73 she went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ted of Fifty-four years, her children Bradly, Christine (Phil), and Corine (Greg), her grandchildren Cydnie (Samuel), Jakob, Lucas, Andreya, and great grandchildren Reuben and Moriah, her mother Lillian and sisters Cathy (Ted), Nancy, Grace, and Lori (Rick) and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon is predeceased by her father Edward and brother Fred.
Sharon’s life motto was JOY- Jesus, Others, and You. As a Wife, Mom, Grandma, and Teacher she demonstrated this motto in her life.
Sharon grew up in the Brantford, Ontario area. After spending a summer visiting in Alberta, Ted and Sharon decided to move west and make Alberta their home.
In her forties Sharon went back to school to attain a Bachelor Degree in Education. Teaching was her passion, and she was gifted at bringing out the best in her students. She taught with a mother’s heart always wanting the best for each of her students. She said that there was nothing more exciting than to see a child realize they could learn. She was compassionate, encouraging, and will be desperately missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2024 @ 2pm at the Cremona Country Fellowship Church.
