It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Hays. Cindy passed away on May 22, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 64 years old.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Kelly Hays, her Daughter Lisa (Derek) Hallett, Graden, Abby and Kinley, her son Cole (Nicole) Hays, Robbi and Raina, and her brother Ed Wenger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, all that loved her tremendously.
She was predeceased by her parents Cliff and Elsie Wenger, her brother Denny Wenger, sister in law Donna Wenger, Sister Terry Bauman, Sister in Law Carol Wenger and niece Tanya Wenger.
Cindy was born in Olds, AB on Sept 25, 1957. In her teens she met the love of her life, Kelly. They built a beautiful life together. Cindy was an LPN at the Olds Hospital for many years. She eventually left that profession to purchase West Side Car Wash where she met many people, and employed many of her children's friends! She eventually moved on to work at Olds Fertilizers until her retirement last year.
Anyone that knew Cindy knew she lived life to the fullest. There were few people that could keep up to her energy! Her smile and laughter was contagious to everyone around her. She is going to be missed dearly.
A celebration of Life was held on May 31, 2022 at the Olds Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to STARS Air Ambulance.
