Kevin Hehr passed away at the age of 60 on January 12, 2021 with his family by his side at the Peter Lougheed hospital.
Kevin was predeceased by his father Marvin Hehr; mother Glades Hehr; brother Dale Hehr; brother-in-law BJ; and grandparents Eunice and Bill Reeve.
He is survived by best friend and wife Sharon Hehr; son Kyle Hehr (Kaitlyn Siera Fiveland); daughter Karlee Hehr (Mitch Howard); brothers, sister and family Ted Hehr, Ken Hehr, Derek Hehr, Twiyla and nieces and nephews; as well as his mother and father-in law Ron and Chris Hettinger.
Kevin’s life was fulfilled with his passion for rodeo, farming and family. Our dad always had a twinkle in his eye, love in his heart and new joke to tell whenever we’d see him. We will miss him dearly. Kevin’s wish is to have a Celebration of Life at the Dog Pound Rodeo Grounds. The date will be announced at a later time, hopefully in July.
The family would like to thank Bethany Care in Didsbury for the time he was there. As well, the Didsbury Hospital and the Peter Lougheed Hospital staff that went above and beyond to make Kevin comfortable in his final hours before he passed.
