It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Frederika (Rita) Hein age 94 years. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. God called home a beautiful soul and she will be greatly missed.
Rita is survived by her children, Jan (Sue) Hein, Martin (Frankie) Hein, Thelma Hein, Rita (Tom) Gunderson; grandchildren Colt (Kayla) Gunderson, Erik (Ashleigh) Gunderson, Jim Hein, Jeremy (Ileah) Hein, Kathryn Hein, Pamela Hein; her great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Roelof Hein, sister-in-law Corrie Stoter as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the Netherlands.
She was predeceased by her husband Arend (Arnold) Hein and granddaughter Heather Gunderson.
The family would like to thank Dr. Slusar, Dr. Turner and the caring and supportive staff at the Olds Hospital Long Term Care.
