With great love and sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Dennis Hill on October 7, 2023, at the age of 91 years.
Dennis worked for Mobile Oil for many years before retiring. Dennis and Georgia were happily married for 61 years. They enjoyed living life to the fullest going camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and travelling extensively including 23 years in Yuma, AZ, where along the way they met many lifelong friends.
Dennis was known and loved for the telling of countless humorous stories, which were told with a twinkle in his eyes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Georgia Hill; brother Glen (Margaret) Hill; sister in laws, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Molly Hill, father Einar Hill and sister Geraldine Hill. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, Olds on October 27, 2023, at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the S.T.A.R.S.
